Don was born in Honolulu Hawaii and grew up across the globe, including stints in Spain, Northern and Southern California the Northeast and finally the Southeast where he currently resides. Don graduated from Virginia Tech with a major in Communications and a varsity letter in wrestling.

Don has worked as a marketer since the early 1990’s for such organization as the American Cancer Society, corporate communications firms and for several marketing agencies.

From traditional marketing to new media – Don’s first foray into online marketing began 2002 when the economy dictated that his firm find a more cost effective way of marketing. He created a successful online campaign that included a monthly e-newsletter, email blasts, optimizing the website and creating a blog (one of the earliest forms of online social networking).

In 2008 Don took his skill set to the corporate world as the Director of Recruitment for Arise Virtual Solutions. Don’s responsibilities included assisting with the corporate messaging and marketing while utilizing online tools to recruit and maintain a virtual workforce of over 7,500.

Don calls Marietta, Georgia home and is active in the community and volunteers regularly with IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) of Atlanta and his children’s elementary school.
